After a successful 17-year corporate career, Melissa returned to school to study architecture and interior design. In 2009, she launched Melissa McLay Interiors, offering luxury residential design services in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, while following her clients wherever they need her.

Over the past decade, her firm has completed hundreds of projects, including new construction, full renovations, and tailored design services.
